I taught at C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls from 1965-1969. I was on the first faculty when the school opened in August, 1965. Fondly recall adopting the school logo (Russell's cattle skull), naming the newspaper and yearbook ("The Rustler" and "Russellog") and loving every day I taught at that wonderful high school with its great staff and spirited students.
I lived and taught in Great Falls, Montana from 1965-69. This is the place where Lewis and Clark had to spend a month in 1805 portaging around these falls on their expedition up the Missouri River on their way to the Pacific.
After working in Great Falls, I later moved to the pretty city of Missoula located in the Missoula Valley of the Rocky Mountains. I taught at Sentinel High School in Missoula from 1971-79, then moved to Helena.
